France: Steady interest in spring barley crop 2013
The activity on the French malting barley market is focused on spring barley of crop 2013, La Depeche reported on April, 9.
Industry sources report several deals signed last week on spring barley 2013. Spring and winter barley of crop 2012 is seeing little, almost zero, demand.
According to a Cere’Obs report, 75% of the nation’s barley area had been planted as of March, 25, versus 97% on the same date in 2012.
