UK: Heineken launches bottled Amstel for the first time in UK

Heineken UK launches bottled Amstel for the first time in the UK, the Morning Advertiser posted October 18. The bottles will be imported from Amsterdam and carry the same traditional design currently served on the continent.

Toby Shaw, Amstel Brand Manager, said: “It’s a really exciting time for Amstel. Draught sales have increased year on year and with the introduction of packaged we anticipate further growth.

“We are also expecting the launch of the new Amstel 330ml bottles to challenge some of the other standard strength lagers, giving customers more choice and the opportunity to enjoy a popular premium continental beer at home.”
