India: Anheuser-Busch will decide upon partnering with SK Jaipuria Group after its team visits India in mid-October 2006

One of the world’s leading brewers, the American Anheuser-Busch (A-B), which makes Budweiser beer, is likely to enter into a national distribution joint venture (JV) with the SK Jaipuria Group (SKJ), which is a key bottler for Pepsi, India Business Insight Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge communicated October 10.

This is part of the company's plans to enter Indian market and a final decision on partnering with SKJ Group will be taken after a visit by an A-B team to India in mid-October 2006.
