Slovenia: Pivovarna Lasko profits increased 7% in 1H 2006

1H 2006 profits of Slovenia’s largest brewery Pivovarna Lasko increased on the back of improved half-year beer sales, the brewery reported August 30.

Pivovarna Lasko saw its 1H 2006 net profit up by 7% to SLT 1.5 billion (US$8 million), a local new agency reported. Net sales stood at SLT32.1 billion, 2% more on a year-on-year basis.
