Latvia: Aldaris sales up by 10.3% in 1H2006

Latvia’s leading brewery Aldaris increased sales by 10.3% in 1H2006, The Union of Russian Brewers released July 25. The brewery marketed 383,000 hl of drinks within this period. In 2005, Aldaris sold 282,000 hl of beer up 8.3% year-on-year.

The legendary history of the traditional Latvian beer brewery Aldaris, a joint venture between Carlsberg, Scottish & Newcastle’s and Baltic Beverages Holding, started centuries ago, in 1865. Nowadays Aldaris is the biggest brewery in Latvia and one of the biggest in the Baltic.
