Ireland: Notification of interest in Greencore shares

Greencore Group Plc ('greencore') announced on March 16 it has received a notification from Bank Of Ireland Asset Management Limited ('Bank Of Ireland') dated 16th March 2006, that Bank Of Ireland has a notifiable interest in 24,987,420 (12.78%) ordinary shares in the issued ordinary share capital of Greencore.

Of these, 27,844 shares are registered in the name of Mellon Nominees Limited; 1,920,233 shares are registered in the name Of Nortrust Nominees Limited; 197,682 shares are registered in the name of Bny Custodial Nominees Limited and 22,841,661 shares are registered in the name of Bank Of Ireland Nominees Limited, as registered owner only, on behalf of a range of clients who are each the beneficial owner of a portion of the shareholding.
