Ukraine: ZAO Obolon, the third biggest beer maker of Ukraine, announced on March 10 it brewed about 81.4 million litres of beer during January-February 2005, increasing its beer output by 30.6% compared to the same period last year. Only in February 2005 Obolon produced 40.6 million litres of beer, a 30.1% increase versus February 2004.

ZAO Obolon is the third largest beer maker in Ukraine, after Sun Interbrew and BBH. In 2004 ZAO Obolon, produced 550 million litres of beer that is a rise of 23.8% versus 2003. In 2004 Obolon controlled 21% of Ukrainian beer market. In 2003 ZAO Obolon registered a beer output of 444 million hl that is 14.2% rise against 2002.
