EU: Barley exports in June-July 2021/22 below last year’s

EU barley exports in July 2021 - June 26, 2022 were 6.85 mln tonnes vs. 7.34 mln over the same period last season, H. M. Gauger GmbH said in their July report.

Major exporters were: France with 3.25 mln tonnes, of which 2.36 to China, Romania with 1.69 mln tonnes, Germany with 1.24 mln.

Imports were 855 thousand tonnes, of which 710 thousand from the UK and 92 thousand from Ukraine.
