Russia: Following an insect (Thrips) infestation of a flower import from Holland which went undetected at the origin, Russia does not recognize time being the phytosanitary certificates of the Netherlands, Germany, Estonia and has thereby put an import ban on all agricultural products from those countries. Negotiations are being held to deblock the import prohibition, but meantime the Russians warned also Belgium and Denmark that their goods may be embargoed in the near future.
