USA, PA: Juniata Brewing Company opens its doors in Huntingdon County
Juniata Brewing Company held its grand opening on Saturday, March 14 in Huntingdon County, WJAC Johnstown reported.
The brewery is located at the intersection of 11th Street and Susquehanna Avenue in Huntingdon borough and is the only brewery in Huntingdon County.
The business is owned by Sean Steeg and David Welsh.
Both men say they were up to the challenge of being small business owners and beer producers.
They say that craft beer enthusiasts will often travel to visit different breweries and try different beers and they hope that their new brewery will be another tourist destination in the county.
"I expect at some point we'll start to see some more breweries in this area nd we can actually turn that into a little trail of sorts. It could be a real economic boom for the area because it's bringing outside money in, said Steeg
They are offering four beers to start, but say they plan on offering more flavors in the coming days and weeks.
