Canada, NL: Scudrunner Brewing now open in Gander

The first craft brewery in Gander, Newfoundland has announced that it is now open, the Canadian Beer News reported on May 30.

Scudrunner Brewing has been launched by partners and pilots Dave Jerrett and Sam Newman, with the brewery name coming from an aviation term that refers to “the art of skilfully navigating an aircraft around many small clouds.”

According to a social media post, the brewery and taproom opened quietly on May 28. Further details including business hours and available beers have not yet been announced online.

Scudrunner Brewing is located at 131 Roe Ave. in Gander.
