Brewing news Canada, NB: Shiretown Beer announces impending closure

A New Brunswick brewery that already closed and returned once has announced that it will be closing again, Canadian Beer News reported on November 23.

As reported by Maritime Beer Report, the impending closure of Shiretown Beer was announced by owner Derek Leslie on Facebook last week.

Shiretown was launched in 2011 as a nanobrewery located in Dalhousie’s Artisan Cafe, and relocated to Charlo in 2013 following the closure of Artisan. The brewery was shuttered in the summer of 2015, but reopened almost a year later.

According to the announcement, the brewery and shop will remain open until the end of November to sell as much stock as possible before the closure.
