USA, PA: Newfangled Brew Works to close its doors permanently on August 14
Harrisburgs Newfangled Brew Works will be closing its doors permanently, after almost 4 years in business. The brewerys last day will be Sunday, August 14th, 2022, the Breweries in PA reported.
The brewery originally opened in November of 2018 in a brand new, 12,000 square foot building on Union Station Blvd, and has been known for a variety of beer styles. In 2019, the brewery would host the very first Pennsylvania military veteran beer collaboration.
Co-owner and head brewer Adam Cole cited issues stemming from Covid as the main reason for closing:
The PA COVID response greatly damaged the business. Between the decreased business and ever-increasing costs to operate, were closing.
The brewery confirmed on social media their plans to close operations by August 14th.
