France: More activity in malting barley of crop 2013 than 2014
Demand for French spring malting barley crop 2013 and, consequently, the number of deals signed increased last week, La Depeche reports.
Deals in crop 2014, on the contrary, are almost non-existent, as sellers are not present on the market, despite the existing demand. According to industry experts, this situation has resulted in an increase in the premium of the new crop versus 2013.
