India: SABMiller intends to introduce Peroni Nastro Azzuro initially to Mumbai

SABMiller, which already has its international beer brand Castle Lager in India, will be importing its international lifestyle beer brand Peroni and introducing it initially in the Mumbai market, India Business Insight released October 12. The company intends to introduce Peroni Nastro Azzuro all over India after test marketing it in Mumbai. While the pricing for the brand has not yet been decided, it will be at a premium to the mainstream brands. SABMiller is also considering local bottling of the brand in the future.
