UK: Marston's, England cricket team official beer, seeks agencies over Ashes sponsorship deal

Marston's, the official beer of the England and Wales Cricket Board, is talking to agencies about a brief to promote its sponsorship of the England cricket team during The Ashes in Australia, Campaign Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge said September 01.

Agency Insight will oversee the review and it is understood that a shortlist of three agencies will be selected to pitch for the brief.

The incumbent on the account is Trott Chick Smith.

The brand, which is owned by Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries and is known for the premium brews Pedigree and Old Empire IPA, will support the England team during The Ashes in Australia and have a major presence at all the key home internationals as part of a three-year partnership.
