Ukraine: Barley prices are US$122-125/t FOB in Black Sea ports

A rise in barley prices was observed on the Ukrainian market throughout August 20/24. The technical reason was the necessity to execute urgent export contracts. The sinking EU production of barley along with high world prices for this crop also contributes to price growth Barley prices in the Black Sea ports reached UAH 630/t CPT towards the weekend.

In Ukrainian BS ports prices for barley are at $122-125/mt FOB, UkrAgroConsult said in its Grain Market report of August 24.
