Brewing news Australia: Cock & Bull takes home three Best in Class awards in Melbourne

Boutique beer brewing company Cock & Bull was a big winner in an international beer awards competition over the weekend the New Zealand Herald posted May 15.

Their brew "Monk's Habit" won two prestigious gold medals at the Australian International Beer Awards, in Melbourne.

In all, Cock & Bull beers this year won three Best in Class awards, with their "Dark Star" product also taking that honour.

Monk's Habit has achieved a total of 50 medals in competition over the past decade since it was first brewed, including 20 golds and 15 Best in Class trophies.

Cock & Bull's head brewer Luke Nicholas said "these wins are huge, particularly as we were competing against the major international brewing companies."
