Ukraine: Ukrainian exchanges concluded barley export contracts for 483,500 MT in November
In November Ukrainian exchanges made export contracts for 483,500 tonnes of the 2005 crop barley - up 2.5 times from October, Ukraine's Union of Agrarian Exchanges has communicated recently. The basic amount thereof - 449,900 tonnes - was contracted on spot terms. The average price of these contracts was 611 hryvnias ($121) per tonne on CPT-port basis.
Forward contracts were concluded for 33,600 tonnes of barley. The prices averaged 613 hryvnias per tonne on CPT-port basis. The longest contracts were for March 2006 delivery.
