Canada: CWB issues Pool A barley final

The Canadian Wheat Board (CWB) announced on June 30 that it is making a final payment on feed barley delivered into its Pool A during the 2004-05 crop year. The final is C$12.72 per metric tonne (MT) for all grades. This lifts the total payment for 1 Canada Western barley to C$116.72 MT; for 2 Canada Western to C$111.72 MT; and for Standard Canada Western Hulless to C$116.72 MT.

The Pool A feed barley pool ran from August 1, 2004 to January 31, 2005. This final payment represents the balance of the money owing to farmers after their feed barley has been marketed through the CWB, and after operating costs have been deducted.
