Canada, BC: Vancouver�s CowDog Brewing Company announces closure by the end of June

After opening in early 2024, Vancouver�s CowDog Brewing Company has made the unfortunate announcement that it will be closing its doors, Daily Hive Vancouver reported on June 17.

�With heavy hearts, we�re announcing that CowDog Brew Company will be closing its doors at the end of this month,� shared the brewery.

For those unfamiliar, CowDog Brewing opened in the former location of Callister Brewing�s Tap House in East Vancouver. It was the passion project of owner Michael Hodgson and his four-legged chief treat-tasting officer, Louis, a.k.a. CowDog.

However, CowDog Brewing plans to go out in style with one final get-together on June 29.

�Before we say goodbye, we invite you to join us for one final event on Sunday, June 29 from 1 to 4 p.m. � a fundraiser for Lifting Stars Veterinary Homecare and their amazing Angel Fund,� said the brewery. �We�ll be tapping a special saison brewed in collaboration with Lifting Stars, and we want to go out on a high note by selling out the keg for a great cause!�

�Bring your growlers, bring your friends, bring your well-mannered dogs, and help us make this last hurrah something truly special. Let�s raise a glass (and some funds) together one more time,� concluded CowDog Brewing.
