Mexico: Beer exports projected to top EUR6 billion in 2025

Mexican beer exports are projected to top 6.1 billion euro in 2025, a 10 percent increase on last year, according to Marcos Gottfried, director of Expo Cerveza Guadalajara 2025, FreshlyBottled.com reported on April 24.

If achieved, the figure would place Mexico among the world�s three largest beer‑exporting nations, alongside the Netherlands and Belgium.

The outlook is buoyed by the craft‑beer segment. Between 2023 and 2024 the number of craft‑beer outlets rose to 3,797; organisers expect the total to exceed 4,000 in 2025.

The United States accounts for roughly 80 percent of Mexico�s beer exports, a share that could come under pressure if new U.S. tariff policies proposed by Donald Trump take effect.
