Armenia: Beer production up 8.1% in January-February
In January-February 2025, Armenias alcoholic beverages production decreased, except for whiskey and beer, Finport.am reported on April 7.
According to the RA Statistical Committee, the nations whiskey output amounted to 360 thousand litres, which is 90.3% higher than the figure for the previous year.
The volume of beer output increased by 8.1% year-on-year, amounting to 2.6 million litres.
Cognac production decreased by 45.3% to 2 million litres, wine - by 33.3% to 845.6 thousand litres, and sparkling wine (champagne) - by 15.8% to 124.6 thousand litres.
The production of vodka, liqueur and other alcoholic beverages decreased year-on-year by 3.9% to 143.3 thousand litres, it is reported.
