USA, CT: Middletown’s Stubborn Beauty Brewing closing its doors

Stubborn Beauty Brewing in Middletown is closing its doors.

An emotional announcement was made Sunday, January 26 on social media.

The brew house is located at 180 Johnson St.

"We were going to say with great sadness — but that’s not true — -It's with great memories that we were always able to brew what we chose to and beyond humbled that you all actually enjoyed what went from our minds, to paper and eventually into your glass," the owners said.

They then added, "Stubborn will be closing its doors on February 2nd."

The plan is to be open Saturday. Feb 1 and Sunday, Feb 2.

"A lot of the original crew will be working the last day and we’d love to raise a glass in appreciation to all of you for making this a fantastic 10-year-long chapter in this crazy book," the owners said.
