USA, SD: Prairie Berry Winery and Miner Brewing Company to close its doors by the end of the year
Prairie Berry Winery and Miner Brewing Company of Hill City will both close their doors by the end of 2024, SDPB reported on October 24.
The pair are operated by the same ownership group and have been a staple of the Black Hills for the past 25 years.
The winery is perhaps best known for its rhubarb red wine, while the brewery issued several locally flavored beers including East and West River pale ales.
Currently, the tasting room and kitchen at the main location are still open and operating under the same hours. It is unclear if the Addie Camp General Store connected to the facility will remain open.
A spokesperson with the business declined to comment on the impending closure but says the real estate will be listed for sale soon.
