Kazakhstan: on March 19 “Private brewery TINKOFF” announced it launched in Alma-Ata its first brewery-restaurant outside Russia. The new brewery is placed on a territory of 2 thousand m2 and has a production capacity of 50,000 litres of beer per month. The restaurant is able to serve about 300 visitors simultaneously and created 150 new work places.

Tinkoff already operates restaurants in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara, Novosibirsk, Ufa, Nijniy Novgorod, Ekaterinburg and Sochi. In 2005 Tinkoff is to launch breweries in Kazan and Rostov-on-Don. For each project Tinkoff is to invest about US$ 2 million.

During the last 7 years Private brewery Tinkoff invested about USD 25 million in its breweries in Russia. In 2004 the company launched restaurants in Ekaterinburg and Sochi. In 2005 the turnover of its entire Russian restaurant business totalled USD 20 million, 53.8% increase versus 2003.
