United Kingdom: The UK Office of Fair Trading announced on March 17 it cleared Associated British Foods PLC and Cargill Inc to set up an arable business, according to AFX News.

The two companies announced in December plans to form an equally owned UK-based venture, between ABF's Allied Grand and Banks Cargill Agriculture, to trade as Frontier.
