Ukraine: First half beer production up 12.5%
Ukrainian beer production in the first half of 2023 grew 12.5% compared to the same period last year, the trade association Ukrpyvo reported.
Ukrainian brewers produced 6.52 million hl of beer from January through June 2023, which is 76.9% of the beer brewed in the first six months of 2021.
Ukraine's brewing industry had partly recovered by the end of 2022 following the full-scale Russian invasion, with the total amount of beer brewed amounting to 12.28 million hl.
