EU: On January 20 the European Commission adopted a resolution, which will permit from January 28, 2005 the accordance of export subsides for 219,500 tonnes of barley to be exported to certain third countries: Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, United Arabian Emirates, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Israel, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania, Oman, Qatar, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen; 74,500 tonnes of which is of French origin. The restitution is to be of 17.97 EUR/tonne.
