Switzerland: The Dutch brewing force Heineken N/V announced it has purchased "Ittinger Klosterbraeu" beer brand from the Actienbrauerei brewery in Frauenfeld. Heineken has plans to extend the brand sales from Eastern Switzerland into the whole Switzerland under the name "original Ittinger Klosterbraeu". There were sold about 14 thousand hl of Ittinger Klosterbraeu last year. "Ittinger Klosterbraeu" has been producing for two years by Calanda Haldengut in Chur, owned by Heineken, Oltner Tagblatt revealed on November 16.
