Canada, BC: Trench Brewing officially opens its doors to public
The Prince George Citizen reports that after more than a year of planning and construction, Trench Brewing has officially opened its doors to the public.
Founded by couples Craig & Esther Schwenning and Bailey & Jesse Hoefels, Trench has been in soft launch mode since earlier this month, and officially opened last weekend, offering glasses and growlers of several beers including Fang IPA (6% abv, 45 IBU), Viking Amber Ale (5.5% abv, 25 IBU), and 6 Mile Stout (6% abv, 40 IBU). Trench beers are also on tap at several bars and restaurants in Prince George.
As indicated by the full name of the company Trench Brewing & Distilling there are plans to distill vodka and gin in the future, with production expect to start this summer.
Trench Brewing is located at 399 2nd Avenue in Prince George.
