Ukraine output 181.65 million litres of beer in April 2004 that is 27.7% or with 38.9 million litres more than in April last year, according to Ukrpivo Association. Beer production in April increased 28.7% or with 39.94 million litres versus March the same year. In January-April 2004 Ukrainian beer production totaled 517.33 million litres, 20.1% or with 86.6 million litres more than in the same period last year. In March 2004 beer production increased 24.7 or with 28 million litres to 141.7 million litres versus March 2003. For the 2003 year Ukraine produced 1696 million litres of beer, an increase by 13% or with 198 million litres against 2002 year.
