Romania: Bere Mures invests 3 million euros in marketing

Bere Mures, the second biggest producer on the domestic beer market, will invest over 1.2 million euros in promoting the Neumarkt brand, positioned on the PET-bottled beer segment, Ziarul Financiar published March 21.

Bere Mures closed a contract worth 700,000 euros with advertising agency Starlink Media, through which the producer puts the communication strategy for the Neumarkt brand in the hands of the agency for a one-year period. Starlink Media won this contract following a tender organised by Bere Mures, with the other companies taking part in the tender like Vitrina, Co.Ge.P. and Reset Media, according to information provided by the Starlink Media agency.

"We will invest about 1.2 million euros in promoting the Neumarkt brand this year. The new Neumarkt campaign will start this spring and it will be advertised through the main communication channels," stated Virgil Mailat, general manager and one of the shareholders of the company. The Mures-based company will invest 14 million euros this year, with 3 million euros being allocated for marketing activities alone.
