EU: Malting barley market quiet, prices move slightly downwards
EU malting barley market has been taking a breather this week with prices slightly moving downwards simply because of lack of buyers, GrainCom reported on December 15.
With Christmas coming in big steps now, the activity on the markets is low.
In the UK, the domestic market was more active and due to that stable domestic market FOB levels don’t really need to come down, the GrainCom analysts said.
