Canada, NB: Big Axe Brewery breaks ground on new brewery
Maritime Beer Report has given word that Big Axe Brewery has broken ground on a new brewery and taphouse.
Launched in April 2014 by Peter and Tatiana Cole as part of their Big Axe Bed & Breakfast, the brewery will become known as the Big Axe Brewery & Saloon when it moves into the new wild west-style log home building designed by Riverbend Log Homes.
In addition to a new 10-barrel brewhouse from DME Brewing Solutions in PEI, the new facility on the bank of the Saint John River will include a two-level taproom with a deck overlooking the river, 12 beers on draught, and food service.
The new Big Axe Brewery & Saloon is expected to open in April 2018.
