Brewing news Russia: “Baltika” announces its investment planning in Voronezh region for 2007

During the days of Voronezh beer factory’s anniversary, the brewing company “Baltika” announces its investment planning in the region for 2007, Russian Beerunion announced on December 14.

On December 15, 2006 the Voronezh brewery - branch of joint stock company “Yarpivo”, celebrates its 70th anniversary. Within the holidays, the president of the brewery company “Baltika” Anton Artemyev declared about his plans concerning the further enterprise’s development as a branch of the united company “Baltika”.

Association with "Baltika" will give a new impulse to Voronezh factory’s development.

For 2007, production’s scale modernization is planned. Investments will be directed for the purchase of the newest equipment, development of the logistic system, improvement of production’s quality, construction of new industrial premises, installation of new production lines.

The total amount of investments into Voronezh region’s economy will exceed 9 million dollars.

From 2007 the factory will produce popular brands like: "Slavnoe", "Voronezhskoe", “Bolshaia Krujka”, “Yarpivo”, “Jigulevskoe”.

The size of taxes paid in all level budgets is forecasted to more than 330 million rub in 2007.

“The anniversary of the Voronezh brewery - one of the oldest enterprises in the company’s structure - has coincided with the last stage of the association of “Baltika"," Vena "," Pikra" and "Yarpivo”. This event symbolically finishes the year, one of the most important for the further development of the company and for the entire brewing branch”, Anton Artemyev said.

Today Voronezh brewery is the leader of the food-processing industry in the Central Chernozem region. The enterprise’s production corresponds to the most strict world standards, with 44% of Voronezh’s area market and 38% of its city market.
