USA: Anheuser-Busch’s credit rating could be downgraded on pessimistic market forecast

Anheuser-Busch Cos. might have its credit ratings cut by Standard & Poor's Inc. over concerns that domestic beer demand could decline further, Chicago Tribune posted October 28. S&P changed its outlook to negative from stable, meaning that the ratings company is more likely to lower its ratings on Anheuser's long-term debt, rated A-plus, and short-term debt, rated A-1.
