Dominican Republic: New AmBev brewery was inaugurated by the Dominican President Fernandez

The inauguration of the AmBev Dominicana brewing company in the Santo Domingo municipality of Manoguayabo was headed by Dominican President Leonel Fernandez on October 17, Dominican Today posted October 19.

Gilmar Vieira, general director for Ambev in the Dominican Republic, thanked the President for his support, and promised to preserve the environment and promote social development of the country.

In turn, Manuel Garcia, Ambev Dominicana president, informed that the firm’s infrastructure is prepared with one of the most advanced treatment plants in the country.

Also underscored at the event is that Ambev contributes to the Dominican society with investments surpassing US$100 million and numerous job posts.

The project covers an extension of 200,000 square meters, with infrastructures measuring 80,000 square meters, capable of handling one million hectoliters of the beer.
