Belgium: InBev 2Q net profit expected to boost by 8.5%
InBev is expected to report 2Q net profit of EUR351.5M, +8.5% from EUR324M a year earlier, bolstered by strong growth in Latin America and cost-cutting in Western Europe, according to the average of forecasts from six analysts surveyed by DJ Newswires on September 05.
The main focus is on its stuttering Western European operations, the biggest part of InBev outside its Ambev operations. Ambev has already reported 2Q results. Analysts also want to see whether InBev will upgrade its guidance which looks for a 30% EBITDA margin by end 2007. Shares closed September 05 1% higher at EUR40.89.
