Canada: Molson-Coors introduced Negra Modelo, Latin America's super premium beer, in Ontario

Molson Canada introduced August 30 Ontarians to Negra Modelo, Latin America's finest premium lager and a classic that is rich in both heritage and taste.

First crafted in 1926, Negra Modelo is a quality lager with a balanced, easy-drinking flavour. This super premium beer is naturally carbonated through the traditional process of Kraeusening, giving this lager a finer bubble and fuller body. Popular throughout Central and South America, this extraordinary beer has traveled the world gaining praise in Europe, as well as Australia and
the United States.

Negra Modelo combines a unique coppery colour with full flavour and rich malt aroma at 5.3 per cent alcohol by volume.

Negra Modelo is brewed by Grupo Modelo, which was founded in 1925 and still leads the production, distribution and sale of beer in Mexico. With seven breweries in Mexico, the brewer has ten brands, among them Corona Extra, the best selling Mexican beer in the world. Modelo Especial, Pacifico, and Negra Modelo are among their creations in addition to several other regional brews.
