Philippines: San Miguel Corporation Consolidated net sales revenue for 1H 2006 reached PHP121.6 billion

San Miguel Corporation (SMC) sustained its double-digit growth with consolidated net sales revenue for the first semester of 2006 reaching PHP121.6 billion, 21% higher than last year, the company released August 11.

SMC's consolidated operating income amounted to PHP11.1 billion, 48% higher than last year. Consolidated net income for the first half of the year totaled PHP43.6 billion, 15% higher than the 2005 level.

San Miguel Beer Division (SMBD) manufactures and distributes San Miguel Pale Pilsen, the undisputed leader in the Philippine market and the leading beer in Hong Kong and South China. It is one of the world’s largest-selling beers and is among the top 15 beer brands in the world.

San Miguel also produces a wide range of popular beverage products that are runaway market leaders in their respective product categories. J. Boag & Son, our Australian brewer, is a leader in the fast-growing premium beer segment with James Boag Premium lager, while Anker Bir is the second largest-selling beer brand in Indonesia.
