USA: Backwoods Brewing changes name to Dead Frog Brewery

“This is one of the first micro breweries in the province to promote themselves with cutting edge marketing,” says CEO Derrick Smith, The Langley Times posted June 18.

Dead Frog Brewery has followed the wine trend of branding that grabs the attention of the consumer and leaves a lasting impression. Dead Frog beer is brewed locally at 260 Street and Fraser highway. "The brewery has been in existence since 1998 and is growing fast as ever" says Smith.

“Dead Frog offers four full-flavoured beers: lager, honey brown, pale ale, and nut brown ale. All four beers contain no preservatives, so one might say that they are even good for you,” says Smith.

The Aldergrove beer is available in a multitude of pubs and restaurants from Chilliwack to Whistler. "We are a proud local brewery, and extremely excited about our new image," said general manager Scott Noble.

Dead Frog Brewery is also a supporter of local charities throughout the Fraser Valley and Vancouver. "At Dead Frog Brewery we think it is important to support local charities. We are always open for new ideas to support charities whether it be local or international" Smith said.
