Ukraine: Carlsberg to be brewed in Ukraine

BBH-Ukraine’s Marketing Vice-president Anton Scetkin has informed about the forthcoming debut of Carlsberg beer production in Ukraine, The Union of Russian Brewers communicated June 16. According to Mr. Scetkin declaration, Carlsberg will be brewed at “Slavutich” brewery, in Kiev. Previously, Carlsberg was imported in Ukraine from Russia. Now, it is assumed that imports are about to cease.

In 2005, Ukrainian sales of Carlsberg went to 65,000 hl.
