USA: The latest barley prices change in Idaho

Barley prices were mostly unchanged in southern Idaho last week and were up 30 cents in northern Idaho, The Idaho Barley Commission announced June 08.

USDA export sales report showed no barley export sales for the past week but accumulated exports of 515.5 thousand metric tonnes for market year 2005/06 were 30 percent above year before. Exports of 100 metric tonnes for June 1 went to Canada. Export sales for the 2006/07 marketing year, which began June 1, were 5.4 thousand metric tonnes – all to Canada.
