Brewing news Singapore: Sirivana Co Ltd. carries on Thai Beverage owner interests

It appears that Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi, the Thailand’s richest men, has bought back shares in Thai Beverage Ltd that were previously sold to investors in Singapore through a new firm called Sirivana Co. Ltd., in advance to Thai Beverage’s forthcoming initial public offering (IPO) in Singapore, The Nation posted on 03 May 2006.

Charoen and his wife each own a stake of 14.35% in Thai Beverage and are considered to be the biggest shareholders in that company. Thai Beverage products include beer and whisky.

According to a report to the Securities and Exchange Commission, Sirivana Co. Ltd. bought a 7.26% stake in the paid-up capital of Thai Beverage from two Singapore located firms: Golden Capital and Silvercord Capital.
