Brewing news Czech Republic: Pivovary Staropramen has new CEO as of 1 April 2006

Tunç Cerrahoğlu has been appointed the new CEO of Pivovary Staropramen a.s. as of 1 April 2006, according to Rubrika’s press report on April 1. Together with the other members of the management team, he will be responsible for further development of Pivovary Staropramen.

"It is an honour to me to lead our Czech team and manage a brewing company in a country whose brewing art has the highest reputation worldwide. Our Czech team has been posting great results and I would like us to continue that trend. We will continue to work hard to provide quality brands to our consumers and trade partners. This way we will be able to further strengthen our position in the Czech market,“ says Tunç Cerrahoğlu, the new CEO of Pivovary Staropramen.

Tunç Cerrahoğlu started his career with InBev in January 2003 after eight years in top management positions in the beverage industry and two years in management consulting. In his first position at InBev, Global Director for Business Analysis, he conducted various global strategic projects. His latest position was Global Director for Distribution Strategy.

Tunç Cerrahoğlu is of Turkish nationality. He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island in the USA. He has lived in USA, Austria, Hungary, Croatia and Belgium. He is married, and has one son. His hobbies include travelling, snowboarding, playing tennis and swimming.
