USA: Constellation beer brands ranked among the top performers for 2005
Information Resources Inc. recently ranked several of Constellation Brands Inc.’s wine and beer brands among the top performers for 2005, Rochester Business Journal posted on March 23.
The Perinton company holds five top spots on the Chicago market research firm’s Table Wine Top 30 Brand Performers and the Table Wine Top 10 New Brands lists, plus had six of its beer brands on the list of Top 30 Beer Brand Performers.
Constellation Brands’ Twin Fin, Monkey Bay and 3 Blind Moose wine products hold the top three places on the Table Wine Top 10 New Brands. Four Emus and Kellys Revenge were ranked eighth and 10th.
On the Top 30 Brand Performer list, Robert Mondavi Private Selection and Ravenswood Vintners Blend took ninth and 12th, with Blackstone, Estancia and Black Box Wines coming in at 14, 15 and 23 respectively.
The Top 30 Beer Brand Performers in 2005 ranked Corona Extra at No. 1 in growth among beers. Other leading beer brands are Constellation Brands’ Corona Light, Negro Modelo, Modelo Especial, Pacifico and St. Pauli Girl.
“These results are especially gratifying as they demonstrate Constellation’s ability to continue growing strong established brands while capturing a greater share of new product revenue by introducing exciting new wines that clearly resonate with the tastes and lifestyles of today's discerning consumers,” said Robert Sands, Constellation Brands president and chief operating officer, in a statement.
