Ghana: Guinness Ghana Breweries sustains gains of bourse

A significant gain by Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) sustained gains on the Accra bourse although volumes traded remained low, Ghana media sources posted on January 18.

GGBL gained 419 cedis to end the day at 8,200 cedis. The GSE All-Share Index went up by 26.06 points at 4,733.18 points. Change in the year-to-date was better at -0.75 per cent from Tuesday's -1.30 per cent.

Shares traded were still low at 126,000 although better than the 51,000 traded on Tuesday, January 18. Market capitalisation was better at 91,762.40 billion cedis from 91,693.40 billion cedis on Tuesday.
