Brewing news Canada: Lakeport Brewing ranks in Top 100 Marketing Power List 2005 by Marketing Magazine

Lakeport Brewing Income Fund announced on October 13 that it has been profiled by Marketing magazine on its Top 100 Marketing Power List for 2005. The 100 power players have met one or more of the following criteria as defined by Marketing magazine; marketing innovation- design or implementing innovative products, a marketing strategy or creative, financial clout and influence/leadership - they either set trends or display strong ethics.

"We are thrilled to be on this prestigious list. Our marketing message of great beer at fair prices continues to gather the support of our extremely loyal customer base. We have them to thank for yet another wonderful honour for our company," said Chair & Chief Executive Officer, Teresa Cascioli. Other companies featured on the list include Tim Hortons, L'Oreal Canada, Rogers Wireless, Campbell Company of Canada, Shoppers Drug Mart and Proctor & Gamble to name a few.

Lakeport Brewing Income Fund is an Ontario-based brewery focused on producing value-priced quality beer for the Ontario take-home market. Lakeport produces nine proprietary beer brands.
