Ukraine: 5 million tonnes of barley expected for exports
The first Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy Ivan Demchak made a public announcement that, consistent with Agrarian Policy Ministry's forecast, Ukraine is expected to export 5 million tonnes of barley in this season. The official mentioned, nevertheless, that this figure was only tentative and much will depend on price conditions on the word market.
On September 5 2005, the Agrarian Policy Minister said Ukraine exported so far 1.5 million tonnes of crop grains.
